A lovely afternoon with sweet treats, music, embroidery lessons from Debbie Robinson, trivia, and everything Jane Austen Regency Era style. Thank you to everyone who helped make this afternoon so much fun, especially the Friends of the Drake Public Library volunteers for making the treats and sponsoring our activities! And of course, Sarah Rohret for partnering with JeNel to plan our celebration of Jane.

Due to a change in delivery service for interlibrary loans, we will not be able to request interlibrary loans from July 23rd through August 1st. We will be able to return materials to the lending library but not request new materials. We are sorry for the inconvenience and looking forward to ILL services being up and running again.

We are looking for a few helpful volunteers again. One or two to put together more gift bags for a program (about 1 hour on Friday) and a couple older kids, able to help host a food table and help decorate for the Jane Austen program at the park this Saturday, starting at 12:30. This would be until 4pm. Please call the library and ask for JeNel or msg us through our Facebook messenger.
