Reminder:Please remember when mowing and trimming your lawn, to mow and trim in such a way that grass and other debris is not thrown out into the streets. When grass is thrown into the street, it washes down and into the storm sewers where it can accumulate and cause clogs and backups. Keeping storm sewer drains clear of debris is an important way to avoid property damage when we have heavy rains because it allows the rainwater to flow freely to and through the storm sewers. Knowingly allowing grass clippings to go into the streets and into the storm sewer system could result in a citation. Thank you for helping to keep Centerville operating smoothly.
Notice: Midland GIS Solutions will be in town GIS and evaluating manholes in the City of Centerville starting May 3, 2010.
