Administration

The City Clerk's office is the link between the residents of the community and their government.    The clerk's office is the historian of the community for the recorded City history.   Staff serves the mayor, city clerk, and is called upon daily without exception for some type of service or information.  The City Clerk's office manages the financial and human resource functions for the city.  In addition, this department coordinates and maintains the City Code, as well as covering proceedings of the City Council.   There is also a variety of there things handled here are city hall to include the city's website, all city records, city council agendas, minutes, and packet information, receiving bids and holding bid openings, elections, and city cemetery records.

This office is also where you will find billing information on various fees and permits are issued through the City Clerk's office such as: dog and cat licenses, liquor licenses, and a range of business permits.
